Did you know… that, according to your ethic group, due to a genetic sensitivity to salt you could be prone to high blood pressure.
For example, people of Afro-Caribbean origin seem to be genetically more sensitive to the effects of salt. Afro-Caribbean people are very prone to hypertension and are much more likely to have a stroke than white or Asian people of the same age.
